Among the permanent partners and customers of UIMDB JSC products are such companies leading in the aviation industry as Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant, Kamov Company, JSC Tupolev, JSC Ilyushin Aviation Complex, Irkut Corporation, Antonov Company, JSC Kazan Helicopters, Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant, Rostvertol PLC, Kumertau Aviation Production Enterprise, Aviastar SP, Voronezh Aircraft Construction Association and others.

UIMDB JSC has a long-term and close cooperation with “Utyos” JSC – its main serial production plant. At present “Utyos” produces the great bulk of products developed by UIMDB. To optimize the costs and to reduce production expenses UIMDB JSC and “Utyos” JSC unite the production capacities of some of their structural units – machine shop, checkout test center and others.

UIMDB JSC actively cooperates with the Government of Ulyanovsk region. The enterprise was one of the first to enter the consortium “Scientific – educational – production cluster “Ulyanovsk - avia”; it takes an active part in the development and implementation of regional special-purpose programs “Ulyanovsk – aviation capital” and “Special economic port zone “Ulyanovsk - Vostochny”, in training personnel for aircraft industry and others. As innovation enterprise UIMDB participates in the project «Ulyanovsk tech park».

The enterprise maintains close relations with the universities of Ulyanovsk, Samara, Kazan, Moscow and others. “Measuring/Computer Complexes” sub-faculty of Ulyanovsk State Technical University has been functioning at the enterprise for more than 20 years. This makes it possible to solve the issues of training field-oriented highly skilled specialists for UIMDB. More than 300 highly skilled engineers have been trained during this period, 1 doctor of engineering science and 20 candidates of engineering science are UIMDB employees.
