This direction performs work on the development of components for intellectual information-management field in cockpit, electronic display and warning systems based on multifunction LCD display units and control panels, aircraft equipment control systems and helicopter equipment control systems, systems aimed to acquire and process data to monitor and control aircraft equipment.

Aircraft equipment control systems are intended for:

  • acquisition data from interfaced systems, sensors and actuation devices;
  • processing of collected data for the interfaced centralized maintenance system, EIS (EICAS);
  • automatic control of aircraft interfaced systems during all flight stages;
  • data exchange via code links between aircraft equipment control system units and interfaced equipment in compliance with ARINC-825 (АС 1.1. 825-2009);
  • data exchange with interfaced aircraft equipment control systems via ARINC-429 buses;
  • data exchange via code links with interfaced aircraft equipment control systems in compliance with ARINC-664 (AFDX);
  • aircraft equipment control directly from overhead panel in emergency state;
  • in-flight and ground control of technical status of sensors and actuation devices of aircraft equipment systems;
  • visualization of technical status of interfaced systems and equipment on EIS multifunctional displays and control panel annunciators;
  • organization of warning annunciation;
  • performing check of operability in-flight and on the ground.

Helicopter equipment control systems are intended for:

  • acquisition data from interfaced systems, sensors and actuation devices;
  • processing of collected data for the interfaced systems and avionics;
  • automation of preflight and after-flight service;
  • automatic control of interfaced equipment during all flight stages;
  • distribution of power supply to onboard equipment with current overload protection;
  • output of tonal aural signals of “Buzzing” and “Chime” types;
  • visualization of technical status of interfaced equipment on control panel annunciators;
  • check of technical status of interfaced equipment in flight and in the process of maintenance;
  • storing data about technical status of interfaced systems, sensors and actuation devices with regard to the flight time and stages;
  • organization of warning annunciation;
  • check of operation time and resources, organization of helicopter equipment control system operation up-to-limit state.

Air-conditioning systems are intended for:

  • acquisition data from interfaced sensors and actuation devices of air conditioning system;
  • processing of collected data;
  • automatic control of air conditioning system during all flight stages;
  • data exchange with the interfaced equipment via ARINC-429 buses, ARINC-664 and ARINC-825 code links;
  • check of technical status of air conditioning system in flight and on the ground.

Data concentrator units are intended for:

  • reception and conversion of onboard equipment analog data into digital format;
  • reception and conversion of onboard equipment digital data into analog format;
  • conversion of digital data into power relay electric signals;
  • reception of data from onboard equipment via ARINC-429 buses;
  • reception of data from onboard equipment via main data exchange channel;
  • conversion of data received from onboard equipment into preset formats;
  • output of data to the interfaced equipment via ARINC-429 buses;
  • output of data to the interfaced equipment via main data exchange channel;
  • generation and output of control discrete signals as power discretes;
  • performing check of operability with BITE in-flight and on the ground;
  • software loading;
  • output of data about failures into interfaced equipment.
