SHIPMENT OF THE EQUIPMENT FOR SARAPULLO HPP AND ALLURIQUIN HPP MADE BY UIMDB JSC

On 9th December, 2015 the equipment of industrial control system made by UIMDB JSC which is a member of KRET JSC was shipped to the Republic of Ecuador.

In October 2010 a contract on delivery of the electromechanical equipment for Toachi-Pilaton HPP of 253 MW was concluded between the Russian company Inter RAO OJSC and HIDROTOAPI, the company of the Republic of Ecuador. According to the contract more than 60% of the equipment for that object is delivered by the Russian Federation. During implementation of the project a contract for putting in operation of the industrial control system was concluded between Tyazhmash JSC, which is one of the key subcontractors of HIDROTOAPI, and UIMDB JSC.

The specialists of UIMDB JSC made a cycle of works on design, production, control and testing of the equipment. In December 2015 they shipped 6 complexes of the remote control and management system for hydro power stations of Sarapullo HPP and Alluriquin HPP, which include 6 control cabinets and board cabinets SK-2 and SK-2-1.

The project is considered to be one of strategic priority for the Republic of Ecuador and of great importance for the cooperation of two countries. The shipment of Russian energy equipment to the countries of Latin America fully complies with UIMDB JSC strategy regarding to the export shipment of industrial control system.
